Still Around... December 05th, 2006 - Josh Hrach
Thats right! I'm still around. Two members of the team graduated last term, but the project itself is still being worked on. I haven't met the new team yet, but I have volunteered to help work on this website with them. Hopefully they'll like it and will want to keep it online.
I'm open for suggestions on improving or changing the site layout, too. If anyone has any ideas, just leave me a note by clicking here. Thanks!New Map Page May 12th, 2006 - Josh Hrach
So we finally got it up: The Google API Map. It can be seen at http://gpssite.wyjen.com/maps.php. Loading the basic page will center you around DeVry, Tinley Park. Filling in the latitude and longitude boxes and hitting the button will reload the map around those coordinates.
The idea is to use an outside program to load that map page into the URL, with the lat. and long. values, so people can see where they are. Of course, doing something from a database would be even smoother. But... what we eventually do will be seen in the future.
The coordinates themselves are checked to be within their respective bounderies. If they fall outside of it, then the default map, centered at DeVry, appears. Any improvement ideas can be sent to me. C/A Code Example April 21st, 2006 - Travis Barnes
I have been reading the blue book for the GPS. I have found some good code examples for the C/A code on page 102-104. If anything, this code can give us an example of what we need to do to ID the satellites. Other code to look at is on page 210-223. I would like all of you to read over it before the meeting week 7. Attention Everybody April 06th, 2006 - Travis Barnes

Website Update February 09th, 2006 - Josh Hrach
As of today, blogs are now visible on the WyTrac website. This will let the public track our progress, as well as make it easier for those assisting us with the project to see how we are doing, progress wise. To our readers, thank you for your interest in WyTrac. We'll do our best to keep you all up to date on the project at hand. | |
